Cosplay Group Shoots
Cosplay group shoots are hosted by attendees, with the exception of "all-fandom" shoots (Ex: LGBTQIA+ Cosplayers, Disabled/Neurodivergent Cosplayers, PoC Cosplayers). Hosts have the option of requesting a CtCon staff photographer or shooting it themselves.
By being accepted to host a cosplay group shoot you agree to:
- Actively monitor your email account for any emails containing further info and possibly questions.
- Create a public Facebook Event page to promote the shoot and post it to the ConnectiCon Official Social Facebook group. If you do not use Facebook, move on to #2.
- Join our official Discord (required), if you haven't yet. We will have channels for all shoots. Please join the channel for yours, introduce yourself, and promote the shoot there. Cosplayers can post their photos to get an idea who will be coming.
- Continue to promote and provide info about your shoot(s) until the shoot day(s).
- Follow the rules and tips from an email that will be sent out the beginning of the convention week.

Hangouts
Hangouts are activities that don't fit the definition of a panel or a cosplay group shoot. Therefore they would not normally be in a panel room or shoot location. Some classic examples: KPop Random Play Dances and Pokemon Go/Street Passing.
By being accepted to host a hangout you agree to:
- Actively monitor your email account for any emails containing further info and possibly questions.
- Create a public Facebook Event page to promote the hangout and post it to the ConnectiCon Official Social Facebook group. If you do not use Facebook, move on to #2.
- Join our official Discord (required), if you haven't yet. We will have channels for all hangouts. Please join the channel for yours, introduce yourself, and promote the hangout there.
- Continue to promote and provide info about your hangout until the hangout day.
- If you will be making items such as bracelets, you must bring enough supplies for everyone to participate. Please include if you will need to have an attendance limit in your hangout description.
- Notify the scheduler far in advance, via the email address in your acceptance email, if you will need anything to run the hangout (ex: furniture added/taken away, audio system, video coverage). Within reason.
