Terms and Conditions
By submitting your application, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Performance Guidelines: You agree to adhere to all performance guidelines, including the use of appropriate choreography, attire, and behavior during the event. You also agree that no one on this application is a "professional dancer" is defined as an individual who performs dance for monetary compensation as their primary source of income.
- Media Use: You grant permission for photos and videos taken during the event to be used by the event organizers for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, and future marketing materials.
- Submission of Materials: You understand that all required materials (photos, videos, audio files, etc.) must be submitted by the specified deadlines. Failure to submit these materials may result in disqualification.
- Health and Safety: You acknowledge the physical risks associated with performance and agree to take necessary precautions. You also agree to provide emergency contact information should it be needed.
- Cancellation and Disqualification: You understand that failure to comply with the rules or meet deadlines may result in disqualification from the event. You also acknowledge that if you are unable to attend the event or perform, you must notify the event organizers as soon as possible.
- Respect for Others: You agree to respect all fellow performers, event staff, and attendees, creating a positive and inclusive environment for all.
- Acceptances: You understand that filling out this application does not guarantee you a performance slot at the Pop Off! competition. If accepted, you and your group members agree to keep your participation as a performer confidential until ConnectiCon officially announces it on social media or you receive approval from the coordinator. Failure to comply with this rule may result in removal from the event.
